1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using the website thepeoplesmedic.org, attending any TPM event, submitting a volunteer application, or making a donation, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services. TPM reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
2. ABOUT THE PEOPLE'S MEDIC
The People's Medic (TPM) is a registered Nevada Domestic Nonprofit Corporation. TPM is a volunteer-led community organization whose mission is to provide safety through first aid, education, and raising awareness for the community.
3. NO MEDICAL ADVICE
Nothing on this website, at any TPM event, or through any TPM communication constitutes medical advice, clinical diagnosis, medical treatment, or the establishment of a provider-patient relationship. TPM provides community education, basic first aid support, emergency preparedness resources, and general wellness information only.
Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider for any medical condition or concern. In the event of a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. TPM is not a substitute for professional emergency medical services.
Licensed healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs), who volunteer with TPM do so in an educational and community support capacity only and are not acting in a clinical provider role during TPM activities.
4. VOLUNTEER TERMS
By submitting a volunteer application or participating in any TPM activity, volunteers agree to the following:

Complete and submit an accurate TPM Volunteer Application

Attend required TPM orientation before participating in events

Operate strictly within their individual scope of training, certification, or licensure

Abide by TPM's Code of Conduct and safety protocols at all times

Sign the TPM Volunteer Waiver and Release of Liability prior to participation

Provide any applicable professional licenses or certifications upon request

Undergo a background check if assigned to work with minors
Volunteer participation is entirely voluntary and unpaid. Volunteering with TPM does not create an employment, agency, or independent contractor relationship of any kind.
5. DONATIONS
All donations made to The People's Medic are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. TPM is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by applicable law. Donors will receive a receipt upon request for tax purposes.
TPM is committed to using all donated funds in direct support of its community programs, events, and organizational operations. TPM does not distribute profits or funds to private individuals.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on thepeoplesmedic.org - including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, design elements, and organizational materials, is the exclusive property of The People's Medic and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, or use any TPM content, branding, or materials without prior written permission from TPM leadership. Unauthorized use of TPM's name, logo, or materials is strictly prohibited.
7. USER CONDUCT
By using this website you agree not to:

Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the website without permission

TPM reserves the right to restrict access to the website for any user who violates these terms.
8. EVENTS & PARTICIPATION
Attendance at TPM events is voluntary. By attending, participants acknowledge that community events may involve inherent risks and agree to follow all TPM safety guidelines and staff instructions. TPM reserves the right to remove any individual from an event for failure to comply with safety protocols or Code of Conduct.
TPM events are open and inclusive. Discrimination of any kind based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or background will not be tolerated.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by Nevada law, The People's Medic, its Board of Directors, officers, volunteers, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

Use of or inability to use the TPM website

Participation in any TPM event or program

Reliance on any information provided through TPM's website, communications, or events

Any outcomes related to educational or basic support services provided in good faith
Volunteers providing basic first aid assistance in good faith are protected under Nevada's Good Samaritan Law (NRS 41.500).

TPM's website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or resources. These links are provided for convenience only. TPM does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites. Use of third-party links is at your own risk.
11. PRIVACY

12. GOVERNING LAW
