About Us

The People's Medic (TPM) was founded by nurses and a local Las Vegas family who believe care belongs to the people. What began as a commitment to protect and serve our community has organically grown into a people-powered care collective grounded in compassion, preparedness, and mutual support.
We assemble trauma medical kits, provide free vital sign checks, share public health and first-aid education, and offer hydration and nourishment to help keep our community safe and cared for.
We host free community classes bringing the same standard of nursing education taught in clinical settings directly to the general public, from children to adults of all ages. We believe that knowing how to stop bleeding, check a pulse, recognize the signs of a medical emergency, or care for someone you love should never come with a price tag. This knowledge should not be gatekept behind a degree or a paywall. It should be public knowledge, freely given, because it saves lives.
We provide community aid, mutual support, and direct resources to our neighbors when and where they need it. Whether it is a health screening at a community event, a training class in a neighborhood meeting room, or a medic station at a march, we show up with the same commitment to care every single time.
We exist to serve, support, and stand alongside our neighbors, family, and friends. It is an honor to show up in moments when care is needed most and to help create safer spaces where people can protect one another and exercise their rights with dignity. People Powered, Care Collective.
